Udhayanidhi Stalin’s transition from a successful producer to actor is proved with his very first film Oru Kal Oru Kannadi. During the 50^th day celebrations of this film in Kumbakkonam, Udhayanidhi said that he is in no way connected to politics and would prefer to concentrate in cinema entirely.

The actor also denied reports that he is to soon be offered an important post in the DMK on his dad Stalin’s insistence. Udhayanidhi said that these were just newspaper reports that have no truth.
