Simbu confirmed that the shooting of the teaser for Vaalu commenced today. Vaalu will star Simbu and Hansika Motwani as the lead pair. Santhanam and VTV Ganesh, who find an indomitable place in Simbu’s films recently, will also share the screen space with him in Vaalu.

The star has said that the teaser is being shot and all three of them are having a great time on the sets. Vaalu is to be directed by Vijay and produced by NIC Arts SS Chakravarthy. Thaman will wield the music baton for this film.

Simbu is excited about this project as it is full-length comedy entertainer, something the star always wanted to do.
