The cinematographer has not taken the avatar of filmmaker for over a decade now and it is interesting that he is making a comeback with a film on MS Subulakhsmi. Right now Rajiv Menon is busy handing the camera for Maniratnam’s Kadal and Rajinikanth’s Kochadaiyaan.

Sources reveal that Rajiv Menon will work on his directorial venture once he is finished with his current projects. It is also reported that writer E Ra Murugan will pen the dialogues. It is yet to be seen whether it will be a full-fledged feature film or a documentary on the life of carnatic music legend MS Subulakshmi.
