The audio launch of Oru Kal Oru Kannadi happened at the Sathyam Cineplex amidst much fanfare. The stars descended down to Sathyam to watch the audio and trailer launch. Suriya, Karthi, Jiiva, and Jayam Ravi were the notable stars present at the venue.

The film’s producer and lead star Udayanidhi Stalin, comedian Santhanam and heroine Hansika Motwani were also there. Director M Rajesh and music director Harris Jayaraj were present. The audio CD was released by Suriya and the trailer was launched by Karthi.
